ACCUFLO TM MICRO-ABRASIVE
BLASTER
NEW FROM COMCO The AccuFlo is the first micro-abrasive blaster to
incorporate the patented Simoom™ Technology - a redesigned
modulator, aerodynamic tank and PowderGate™ valve. The added
flexibility and enhanced powder flow control allow a wider range of
applications to be performed with the unit.
Simoom™ Technology
Comco has engineered an innovative system of mixing air and
abrasive to improve flow consistency. Our aerodynamically
designed mixing chamber minimizes directional changes in the powder
flow. This enables the AccuFlo™ to deliver smother and more
consistent micro-abrasive blasting.
This revolutionary approach delivers improved control to the
mixture of air and abrasive. With Simoom™ Technology it is
possible to flow a greater range of powders. The result is a
tighter control over the volume of powder flowing through the machine.
Flowing higher concentrations of powder improves the abrading
power, decreasing processing time.
The AccuFlo comes equipped with the exclusive PowderGate™ valve
(patent pending). This mechanism uses the latest technology to
control the on/off action of the abrasive. It increases the
responsiveness of the unit and reduces downtime by eliminating
maintenance issues found on conventional blasters that use pinch
mechanisms.
Additionally, Simoom Technology results in reduced maintenance and
less downtime. Improvements have been made to decrease the
number of wear points and increase the lifespan of the blaster.
Specially designed Media tank
The media tank has a transparent cover to easily check the powder
level. A special thread design on the tank cover makes for quick
removal and replacement when it’s time to add or change powder. The
AccuFlo media tank also holds 50% powder more than a standard
MicroBlaster®. The AF10 is thee standard model Accuflo and
holds 1 liter of media, the AF10-T features an extended tank
and can hold 2 liters of media.
ComfortGrip™ Handpiece
 An
ergonomically designed handpiece provides extra comfort and lessens
operator fatigue. It also has fewer wear points and is
engineered for easy replacement of its exclusive Hi/Performance™
nozzles. These special nozzles offer greater precision and
longer life than conventional nozzles.
Easy Maintenance
Easy to read LCD counters keep track of blast cycles and hours of
use, providing simple milestones for maintenance. All wear parts
are easily accessible in the open design. Air lines and
connectors are color-coded for easy identification.
An effective micro-abrasive blasting system requires a workstation
