45CK Inline Groove Autobonding 45° V Groove Large Wire Wedge Bonding Tools

The inline groove was one of the most widely used foot designs for large wire bonding. The bond deformation width is smaller than that seen with a concave foot design. The inline groove design was the first step away from the concave foot, and primarily utilizes a cutting tool for second bond termination.

Autobonding tools help guide the wire directly under the foot. This design is commonly used where L-notch tools experience wire control problems where different bonding heights and extreme long wires are bonded.
