 DIRECTFLO DF1400 MICRO BLASTER
The Directflo
DF 1400 is the new version of the Directflo. The new system is designed to expand
the use of micro abrasive blasting but with improved features such as Comco's
PowdergateTM designed to reduce hose wear and improved maintenance
downtime. Essentially a heavy duty MicroBlaster it has extra heavy-duty
construction and components, and a twelve (12) pound abrasive tank that equals
four times the abrasive media capacity of other systems. A tank extender can
be used to increase the capacity of the tank.
Larger
diameter media tubing allows greater air flow, and larger nozzles or multiple
nozzle configurations are used for greater productivity. The system handles a
wide range of air pressures up to 160 psi. Nozzles and abrasive media are
easily and quickly interchangeable to suit a wide range of applications.
The
Touchstart hand piece was designed for a specific application but its
versatility and ease of use has led Comco to offer the feature for the MB, PF
and DF series blasters. The footswitch is not needed to switch the blasting
on/off with the new hand piece design as a small hole switches the operation.
